In December 2008, the Los Angeles event will be a standalone event presenting shorts and feature films.

Historically, IFCT has screened nearly every imaginable type of film originating on a WIDE VARIETY OF FORMATS ranging from film to digital video.

IFCT has emerged as one of the world's fastest growing film festivals. IFCT has overseen over 700 premieres including animations, features, docs, shorts and experimental film. As a non-profit, IFCT's goal is to find the best undiscovered and overlooked projects and screen them to general audiences as well as industry professionals.

In short, the festival's goal is to gain exposure for the "undiscovered film."
