Since its inception in 2002, IFCT has held past festival events in nine cities: Los Angeles, London, Sydney, Toronto, Orlando, Brisbane, New York, Sheffield and Paris using many of the world's most prestigious venues for festival events.
Historically, IFCT has screened nearly every imaginable type of film originating on a WIDE VARIETY OF FORMATS ranging from film to digital video.
IFCT has emerged as one of the world's fastest growing film festivals. IFCT has overseen over 500 premieres including animations, features, docs, shorts and experimental. As a non-profit company, IFCT's goal is to find the best undiscovered and overlooked projects and screen them to industry professionals. IFCT volunteers, drawing on industry connections, send award winning projects to agents and distributors for acquisition consideration. (This policy is unique to IFCT- read more about IFCT's policy)
In short, the festival's goal is to gain exposure for the "undiscovered film." |
